As you might expect, Deadpool isn’t going to let the Super Bowl go by without a quip and a snide comment – although one that it has to be said that feels like it was carefully picked not to be too offensive. With the movie due out this week, the Big Game was the perfect opportunity to showcase the X-Men character’s unique brand of superhero-antics.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.’
The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein. It’ll be in cinemas in February, but enjoy the trailer below.
