The Ice Age films left any semblance of reality behind a long, long time ago. Well, any film about talking animals isn’t going to be realistic, but having dealt with everything from entire continents split aparts in minutes and bringin dinosaurs into the Ice Age, we shouldn’t be surprised that for its latest outing, Collision Course, at least one of the characters is going into space, while the others dealing with a massive meteor shower.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.
