The first two Chapters of Insidious took us into the creepy world of The Further through the story of the Lamberts and their the supernatural’s interest in them and their son. Now it’s prequel time, showing us how Lin Shaye’s Elise came to known about The Further, which came in handy in the earlier movie.
The first teaser for the movie is here, which suggests there’s going to be plenty more scary weirdness.

This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.’
It’s due out in 2015.
