There’s a 15 year gaps between Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, during which time mankind has been decimated by a terrible virus, leaving room for Caesar and his enhanced-ape army to lay the seeds of their own civilisation.
But what happened in-between the two movies?
Now three short film have emerged to give us a look at some of the events that took place, along with a set of rather cool alternative posters, all of which you can see below.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earths dominant species.’
