Sacha Baron Cohen may not be play Freddie Mercury anymore, but he’s still busy putting projects together, with the news that Now You See Me and Incredible Hulk helmer Lous Letterier has signed up to helm his spy spoof, Grimsby, according to Variety.
The first we heard of the movie was in August 2012, although things have moved forward considerably since then. Baron Cohen and Phil Johnston wrote the script, which is about ‘a British black ops agent who is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, who is a northern English soccer hooligan.’
Now the Mercury biopic is gone, Cohen is hoping to shoot Grimsby as soon as he can. although there’s no news on exactly when it’ll film.
