With the jump from Charlie Hunnam to Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey in the film version of Fifty Shades Of Grey, shooting has had to be pushed back a few weeks until early December. That’s partly so they have more time to fill out the rest of the cast.
Now Victor Rasuk has become the latest to join the Fifty Shades of Grey cast, according to Deadline, signing on to play college student Jose, who ends up being Christian’s love rival.
In E.L. James novel, Jose is an amateur photographer, classmate and close friend of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). He’s keen to take their relationship to the next level. However, he finds himself competing for her affections with young billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), who draws Anastasia in with his twisted S&M games.
Jennifer Ehle is set to play Anastasia’s mother, with Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot. Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing from an adapted screenplay by Kelly Marcel, Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback. It’ll be in cinemas next August.
