Leonardo DiCaprio likes to have a huge amount of movies in development. A few of them he ends up starring in, some he only produces, while many disappear or get made without his involvement. Now he’s got a new one, as Deadline reports that he has signed on to star in and produce an adaptation of Jo Nesbø’s novel Blood On the Snow.
The book is about a hitman who is tasked with killing his boss’ wife. However an unexpected problem arises when he begins to fall in love with his mark. The novel is set to be published next spring, with a sequel, Blood On The Snow 2: More Blood, already planned for in 2015.
To make things a little more interesting, Nesbø wrote both books under the pseudonym Tom Buchanan, who is set to become the victim in his 2016 book, The Kidnapping.
