The last we heard about The Age Of Adaline, Katherine Heigl was attached to star with Andy Tennant directing. However things have changed as both of them are out and now Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn are in, according to Deadline.
The story is about a 29-year-old woman who stops aging after recovering from an accident that nearly killed her. She embarks on a worldwide journey that covers most of the 20th Century, keeping her secret intact until she meets the man of her dreams.
Lee Toland Krieger (Celeste and Jesse Forever) will direct from a screenplay by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz. Lionsgate co-presidents Robert Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger commented,”We searched for the ideal director and stars. We believe that we have found them with Lee Toland Krieger, Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn , and together they will tell the story of Adaline in a way that audiences won’t forget.”
