After a five year gap, we got two films from Tarsem Singh in less than a year with Immortals and Mirror Mirror. However since then he’s mainly been flirting around other project, although Selfless, starring Ryan Reynolds, should be in cinemas next year. Now he’s signed on for a new one, as TheWrap reports he’s set to direct The Panopticon.
The film is about an ordinary man who receives a strange package that has a recording from himself, with a grave warning that the world is in danger. He must race against the clock to figure out this worldwide travesty before it’s too late for mankind.
Craig Rosenberg (The Quiet Ones, The Uninvited) wrote the screenplay, although there’s no news on when it might shoot.
