At this rate there wont be a single speaking role in Christopher Nolans Interstellar that isnt filled by a fairly well-known name. The likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow and Topher Grace are already onboard, and now THR reports that American Beauty and Hunger Games star Wes Bentley has bagged a meaty supporting role in the movie.
However, as Nolan is being predictably secretive about Interstellar, theres absolutely no info on exactly what Bentley will be doing in the movie.
The movie revolves around a journey into outer space that pushes humanitys knowledge of science and technology. The film was initially inspired based on the scientific theories of Kip S. Thorne, who believes that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel. Christopher Nolan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother Jonathan Nolan.
The film will shoot later this year, with a November 7th, 2014 release date already set.
