The Wolverine is only a few weeks away, as it’s due to hit cinemas on July 25th. Now six great looking character portraits have debuted over at IGN, giving us a taste of the people and Japanese feel of the movie.
The pics of course include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but there’s also Rila Fukushima as Yukio (the one with the red hair), Will Yun Lee as Kenuichio Harada before his transformation into The Silver Samurai, Svetlana Khodchenkova (who’s blond) as Viper and Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida.
Heres the synopsis: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
