After the success of the Batman movies and Inception, Christopher Nolan is the director absolutely everyone wants to work with, which has allowed him to put a great cast together for Interstellar. Now there’s a new recruit, as in an interview with Elle Magazine to promote his upcoming drama Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Casey Affleck says that he’s signed up.
Asked about upcoming movies, he said, “I’ve got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called Out of the Furnace, and I’m going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall.”
As always with Nolan, there’s absolutely no info on who he might play, but he’ll star alongside the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, and Bill Irwin.
Nolan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother, Jonathan Nolan, which is about a journey into outer space that challenges our knowledge of science and technology. The plot is reportedly based on the theories of physicist Kip Thorne, who believes that wormholes actually do exist, and can be used for time travel.
A November 7th, 2014 release has already been set. (Quote via ComingSoon)
