Keira Knightley may have just gotten married, but she isn’t having a break from booking new movie roles, as she’s in talks for the dark comedy Laggies, according to EW. Back in March Anne Hathaway was in talks to star, but she was recently forced to back out due to scheduling conflicts with Interstellar, which she joined last month.
Laggies is about a young woman (Knightley) who has an averse reaction to her boyfriend’s (Mark Webber) surprise proposal. She shies away from answering him by pretending to go on a business trip, while she is actually just hanging out with her younger sister (Chloe Moretz). Sam Rockwell also stars.
Lynn Shelton is directing from a screenplay by Andrea Siegel. It isn’t clear when it’ll shoot, but it’ll presumably be fairly soon if Hathaway couldn’t do this and Interstellar.
