Many wondered why, after the first film, Jurassic Park never returned to the original island. One of the main reasons is that in Michael Crichton’s original book, Isla Nublar gets blown up, so when they were planning The Lost World they decided to go to a new island while skirting around the issue of what happened to the first island.
However for Jurassic Park IV, it seems we’re heading back to that first location, and now director Colin Trevorrow has tweeted a pic of the Hawaiian paradise that will become the film’s island, accompanied simply by the word ‘Nublar’.
There’s still no word of the specific plot, but a June 13th, 2014 release has been set and filming is due to begin this summer.
