It’s still a few months until The Wolverine hits cinemas in July, but now Fox has released a trio of new images from the movie, with Hugh Jackman in Japan and getting his claws out.
Director James Mangold has also promised we’ll get the first teaser in the next few days, as it’s due to play with GI Joe: Retaliation when it’s released on March 28th. Mangold tweeted, ‘The Teaser comes out on that date, yes. It will be about 2 minutes. The trailer (longer) will follow after that.’ Adding, ‘Clarity for all asking: I will tweet a peek (a “tweazer) on 26th. Full teaser online on 27th. 3D and 2D in theaters on the big screen 29th.’
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.’
