Later this year Disney will be hoping to match the success of Tangled with Frozen, a new take on the classic tale The Snow Queen (a story the studio has been thinking about animating for decades). Now two new character posters from the film have debuted over at Cine1, giving us our first proper look at lead characters Elsa and Anna.
Here is the synopsis: ‘When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna, a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Annas sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.’
Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff lead the voice cast. The movie is due out in the US this November, and will probably reach the UK the following February.
