You’d think Seth MacFarlane would be too busy preparing to host the Oscars to do much else at the moment (and that’s ignoring the fact he has three TV shows on the air), but he’s also busy moving forward on his follow-up to Ted, A Million Ways to Die in the West.
THR reports that he’s starting to piece the cast together, with Charlize Theron now in negotiations to star alongside Seth himself in the movie.
The ‘Blazing Saddles-style comedy’ is about a meek farmer whose girlfriend leaves him after he backs out of a gunfight. He meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot. However what first seems to be a chance to win back his girlfriend turns into something else when he falls for the women. Things inevitably get complicated when the outlaw returns to reclaim his woman.
The plan is start shooting the film in May.
