Bradley Cooper’s star was starting to wobble, as while The Hangover thrust him up the Hollywood tree, his output outside that franchise has been patchy. However his Oscar nomination for Silver Linings Playbook seems to have given his career fresh impetus.
Deadline reports that he’s now got a new project in the works, as Warner Bros. has acquired the James Renner novel The Man From Primrose Lane, which will be put together as a starring vehicle for Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper.
The book is about a true-crime writer called David Neff (Bradley Cooper), who is investigating the death of a recluse known as “the man with one thousand mittens.” This leads him to become obsessed with another string of murders, where he discovers his own connection to the crimes. The author realises that in order to catch the killer and stop this endless cycle of murder, he must challenge what is known to be true about time and space.
Southland writer Chad Feehan is penning the screenplay adaptation, with Bradley Cooper producing alongside Kevin McCormick.
