Liam Neeson seems to have made a new career in the last few years playing tough guys who will stop at nothing to get out of a sticky situation, and he’s had plenty of success at it. Now he’s got another one, as he has signed up to star in Run All Night, with Unknown helmer Jaume Collet-Serra in negotiations to direct, according to Deadline.
The story centres on a hitman who takes on his former mob boss. He ends up going on the run with his wife and estranged son, fleeing from this dangerous mafia leader and the authorities as well.
If Collet-Serra does direct, this will be his third collaboration with Liam Neeson, as Unknown and the upcoming Non-Stop. Brad Ingelsby (Out of the Furnace) wrote the screenplay. The hope is to start production this autumn.
