A couple of days ago our very first look at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire arrived, with an EW cover and a look at Sam Claflin’s Finnick Odair getting close to Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen. Now EW has released a quartet of fresh pics from the film, including our first look at Philip Seymour Hoffman as gamesmaker Plutarch Heavensbee.
There’s also Donald Sutherland as the oily President Snow, a shot of Willow Shields and Paula Malconson as Katniss’ sister and mother, as well as director Francis Lawrence chatting to Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth on the set.
The film sees events in Panem escalate as it’s revealed the next Hunger Games will be different to normal and see previous champions thrown back into the arena – meaning Katniss and Peeta are going to be fighting for their lives again. All the while dissent is growing in the districts against the control of the Capitol. The film hits cinemas November 22nd.
