Magicians are going to be big in 2013 – or at least Hollywood is hoping so – as we’ve got Louis Leterrier’s Now You See Me and also the more comedic The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. Now the first posters and trailer for the latter movie have arrived.
The film features Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin, James Gandolfini, Jim Carrey and Jay Mohr, working from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein. Here’s the synopsis: ‘Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burts growing ego. But lately the duos greatest deception is their public friendship, while secretly theyve grown to loathe each other. Facing cutthroat competition from guerilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult followingsurges with each outrageous stunt, even their show looks stale. But theres still a chance Burt and Anton can save the actboth onstage and offif Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.’
