The film, based on King’s short story Gramma, follows two young brothers (Joel Courtney and Chandler Riggs) who discover that their grandmother is actually an evil witch. Frances O’Connor is also onboard as the boys’ mother, but no details have been given for Dylan McDermott’s character.
Peter Cornwell (The Haunting in Connecticut) is directing the low budget from from an adapted screenplay by Matt Greenberg. It isn’t known when principal photography may begin.
