It’s less than six months now until Iron Man 3 hits cinemas on April 26th, and the excitement is already growing. To help increase the hype, Marvel has release four new images from the movie, including our first look at Rebecca Hall, who plays Maya Hansen in the movie.
Hansen is a character who stretched all the way back to the first issue of the Iron Man comic. In the film, she’ll play a scientist who helps Tony Stark create the Extremis nanotechnology that plays a vital role in the movie’s plot. These photos also offer another look at the Iron Patriot armor, a battered Iron Man mask, and Robert Downey Jr. himself.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Marvels Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemys hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?’
