He may have started out as Jack’s test-tube baby son on Will & Grace, but Michael Angarano has grown up a lot since then, booking lead roles in both mainstream and indie projects such as The Forbidden Kingdom, Gentlemen Broncos and Red State.
Now he’s planning another indie outing, as he has signed on to star in Craig Zisk’s comedy The English Teacher, starring as the young romantic lead opposite Julianne Moore.
Written by Dan and Stacy Chariton, the film stars Julianne Moore as a high school English teacher whose life is upended when a former student returns to her small town after failing as a playwright in New York. Michael Angarano will play the sensitive scribe, who the protagonist finds herself falling for. (Source: Variety)
