Although perhaps not the movie many might have hoped would mark Robert Zemeckis’ return to live action filmmaking (I demand Who Frames Roger Rabbit 2), the drama Flight is now taking shape, with the casting coming together ready for a shoot later this year.
The latest actor to be announced is Hurt Locker star Brian Geraghty, who’s currently in talks for the movie.
Flight is about an airline pilot (Denzel Washington) who heroically saves the lives of his passengers during a plane crash. However, the investigation reveals the pilot has been abusing drugs, but they try to cover up the findings to preserve his image. Geraghty will play Denzel Washington’s co-pilot, who turns to religion after the crash. Last week it was revealed that Don Cheadle and Bruce Greenwood are also in negotiations to star in the drama.
