Liam Neeson doesn’t look like he’s having much fun in The Grey, where he plays the leader of an an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks (although the teaser seems to suggest he’s the only one involved), whose plane crashes in the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt before their time runs out. Although surviving in the wilderness sound slook a good idea for a film, it’s odd that it rarely actually works on screen. Hopefully with Neeson starring and Joe Carnahan directing they can make it work. The movie’s due out early next year, but click below for the new teaser trailer.
