Parks and Recreation actor Adam Scott has signed on to star in the comedy A.C.O.D. (which stands for Adult Children Of Divorce), according to Deadline. Scott’s a great actor, so it’s good he’s getting a lead role in this indie effort, having spent years offering support in films like The Aviator, Step Brothers and Knocked Up.
In the film Adam Scott plays a thirty-something man who was forced at an early age to be the adult of his family when his parents split up amidst a lot of acrimony. Fed up dealing with his parents’ long running feud, he must get his folks together once more and keep from blowing a gasket after his younger brother unexpectedly decides to get married.
The movie will be the directorial debut of Stu Zicherman from a script he wrote with Ben Karlin.
