It seems the glut of comic book-to-movie adaptations isn’t about to end any time soon, as THR reports that Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman’s comic book mini-series Undying Love.
The Image Comics title blends the vampire genre with Hong Kong creatures and action elements, centering on a former soldier who falls for a young vampire woman. He soon finds out that the only way they can be together is if he defeats her vampire master, along with a host of other Chinese underworld creatures. Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman will adapt their own comic book for the silver screen.
Stephen L’Heureux is producing alongside Chris Bender and J.C. Spink, but as yet no director has been named.
