While the first pic of Russell Brand and Alex Baldwin in costume for Rock Of Ages came via an informal picture posted by Adam Shankman on Twitter, Tom Cruise doesn’t do informal, and so the first pic of him is a much more finished production. The image comes via TomCruise.com, and shows Tom rocking out as Stacee Jaxx, an aging rock star who gets involved with Julianne Hough’s fresh off the bus character, who arrives on the LA rock scene and gets more than she bargained for.
The jukebox musical features lots of 80s hair metal hits, so we can look forward to the audio that’ll accompany this image on screen, with Cruise trying to prove he really can sing. Take a look below for a close up of Tom in all his rocker glory.
