Ready for some new posters and pics? Well we got some. Take a look below for a new Scream 4 poster, the first poster for the comedy Bridesmaids, a new Captain America shot on the cover of Empire and the first picture from the Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman flick, The Change-Up.
Yep, we’re getting a sense of deja vu too. It’s been interesting with the marketing for Scream 4, how it’s barely noted that a decade has passed since the last movie, and that it’s introducing a new generation of Ghostface fodder. This poster certainly fits nicely with ones for the earlier films, although if they want to get today’s teenagers into cinemas, they might want to freshen things up in the next few month. The flick sees Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott return to Woodsboro, with her appearance sparking a whole new wave of slashings. It’s in cinemas this April. (Image via Yahoo!)
Bridesmaids is a slightly unusual rom-com, in that it’s fronted by a bevy of women, known of whom are on the A-list, without a man in sight. That may not sound that strange, but there aren’t as many examples as you might think (there’s Sex & The City, but that came from TV). The Judd Apatow produced flick stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper, as a group of women battling it out to plan their friend’s wedding party. It hits cinemas in June. (Image via Moviefone)
This is the first image from The Change-Up (which sounds like it really want to be called The Switch, but Jennifer Aniston knicked the title), which stars Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman as best friends – one a resposible family man, the other a lazy man-child – who end up swapping bodies. Presumably hilarity ensues. It reaches cinemas this summer.
And finally, here’s the new cover from Empire, which features a brand new and rather spiffy shot of Chris Evans as Captain America, and below that is a tiny preview of the accompanying feature, which has another great image of Evans in full costume, incluing mask. The World War II superhero adventure arrives in cinemas on July 29th, but expect to have the flick hyped down your throat long before then.
