Apparently originally posted on MSN (although the link’s now dead), and now spreading round the web like wild fire, this appears to be the first look at the cast of X-Men: First Class. From left to right that’s Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.
Admittedly it’s not exactly a massive image that we can make many judgements from, and with the film set in the 1960s, it’ll be interesting to get bigger and better shots, to show exactly what the costumes will be like. We’ve been promised a look that hews closer to the golden age comics, but it’s difficult to tel whether we’re getting that from these shots.
The film hits cinemas on June 3rd.
