For someone who started as a comedy writer and never expected to spend much time in front of the camera, there’s little doubt Tina Fey has done very well for herself. With 30 Rock and a burgeoning movie career, she’s now one of the best loved comedienne’s in America. And she has a new film up her sleeves, as Variety reports the actress is in final talks to star in Admission.
There’s not a vast amount of info on the film, but Fey will play a college campus admissions officer who falls in love with one of her students. The screenplay was written by Karen Croner, and will be directed by Paul Weitz (About A Boy, Cirque Du Freak).
No start date was given for the project, but it will will presumably shoot this summer, between seasons of 30 Rock.
