Olivia Wilde, Eric Bana and Charlie Hunnam are all in talks to join the movie Kin, according to Variety. Stefan Ruzowitzky will (The Counterfeiters) will direct the film, based on an original script from Zach Dean.
Kin tells the story of two desperate sibling fugitives on the run, who collide with the holiday homecoming of a troubled ex-boxer. Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde will portray the outlaw duo; Charlie Hunnam will play the former sparrer. That’s not a lot to go on, but at least has the basics of an interesting tale.
And while we’re talking Eric Bana, The Wrap reports that he’s circling the lead in Timur Bekmambetov’s adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, a movie that reimagines the 19th Century president as a man whose life was ruled by his desire to kill the undead, after they murdered his mother. It’s still early days though, and it doesn’t appear Bana has even officially been offered the part, but he;’s certainly interested.
