Matt Damon and Emily Blunt are on the run in the new poster for The Adjustment Bureau, which was just debuted over at Empire (and which you can see above). The directorial debut of Bourne Ultimatum writer George Nolfi is based on a Philip K. Dick story and sees Matt Damon as a man who’s running for office, but whose efforts to form a relationship with a ballet dancer (Emily Blunt) are affected by a group of people whose job is to ensure that fate falls the way it should, and that the world runs completely to plan. They believe Damon and Blunt shouldn’t be together, but can they stop them? It all sounds a bit weird, but if you wanna know a bit more, click here for the trailer. The film will his cinemas March 4th, 2011.
The first poster for I Am Number Four has also been released, which hits cinemas on February 18th, 2011. The marketing for this one has been interesting, as it appears they’re trying to make it look like Twilight to fans of that franchise, while distancing it from the vampire love saga for everyone else. The poster sort of sits in the middle – good looking young guy, but all a bit sci-fi.
The movie is about a group of nine young people from a planet called Lorien who have been attacked by a hostile race from another world. The youngsters and their guardians evacuate to earth, where three are killed. The protagonist, a Lorien boy, Number 4 (Alexx Pettyfer), hides in Paradise, Ohio, passing himself off as a human, and tries to evade his predators. The film also stars Glee’s Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand and Timothy Olyphant. Take a look at the poster above and click here for the teaser trailer.
