I don’t know how the people who design film posters managed before Photoshop – but the power of Adobe’s programme do mean that sometimes they take things a little too far. Take the first poster for Unknown below, which makes Liam Neeson look like somebody completely different, and slightly like Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight after half his face gets burnt off. However while the poster is a bit bizarre, the film may be ok, with Neeson as Dr. Martin Harris, who gets in car accident and wake up from a short coma to fin that suddenly everyone he knew is claiming they’ve never met him before. While he initially thinks that perhaps his head injuries have completely screwed with his head, especially as even his wife doesn’t recognise him and says she’s married to someone else (who seems to have assumed his identity), he becomes convinced there’s something far dark and stranger going on.
