First Pics: Teaser Poster Unveiled For Pirates 4 – Plus, first looks at Mars Needs Moms & Red Riding Hood

15th November 2010 By Tim Isaac

A lot of first look images have appeared over the last couple of days. The one you can see above is from Mars Needs Moms. It’s the first production still (we’ve only has a preview poster before) for the Robert Zemeckis produced movie, which uses his motion capture CGI techniques to tell the story of nine-year-old Milo, who finds out just how much he needs his mom when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. Milo embarks on a quest to save his mom – a wild adventure that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader. The movie hits cinemas next spring.

However Mars Needs Moms isn’t the only new first look image, so take a look below for some more…

Disney has released the first teaser poster for Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and in keeping with the first promos for the earlier movies, it’s a skull and crossbones that doesn’t tell us an awful lot about Jack Sparrows adventure finding the Fountain Of Youth and tangling with Blackbeard (Ian McShane) and his daughter (Penelope Cruz). The film his cinemas next May. (Image via IMPA)

The image above may be a crappy scan from Entertainment Weekly, but it’s nevertheless the first shots we’ve seen from Red Riding Hood, the Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight) reimagining of the classic fairy tale, starring Amanda Seyfried. It’s a much darker and romantic version than you might expect, with Hardwicke saying, “There’s a strong whodunit through the whole thing. So it’s got the weird, interesting parts of Grimm’s fairy tale then so much more.” The film will be out next spring.

And just to finish off with, these three new pics from Scream 4 have just hit. That movie will be in cinemas next April.
