For what initially seemed like it was going to be a very basic thriller, The Disappearance Of Alice Creed certainly made quite a few waves and got the film industry to really take notice of director J Blakeson, especially after the rave reviews the movie received in the UK. While there have been vague rumblings about what he might do next, THR now reports that he’s in negotiations to direct Hell and Gone, for Warner Bros.
Jonathan Nolan, brother of Chris Nolan, has written the script, and while there are few plot details, it is known it revolves around the Great Chicago Fire, which killed hundreds and destroyed nearly four square miles of the city on October 10th, 1871.
There’s no news on when the movie might go into production, although it could well be one to keep an eye out for.
