While everyone waits for him to don the batsuit gain, Christian Bale has to find something to fill his time, and while he’s attached to Terrence Malick’s post-Tree Of Life movie, other than that he hasn’t got much that appears it’s going to be made anytime soon.
However it seems he may have found something keep him busy between now and next year’s Batman 3 shoot, as Pajiba reports he’s eyeing a role in the Zach Snyder produced war drama The Last Photograph, although while early reports said he’d already taken the role, it now seems he’s merely thinking about it. It’s been a pet project for Snyder for a few years, based on his own original idea about a photograph that becomes the catalyst for two men to travel through war torn Afghanistan.
Previously it was said Mongol director Sergey Bodrv would direct the movie, although Pajiba suggests the current frontrunner is Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’s Niels Arden Oplev. 300’s Kurt Johnstad is working on the script, but as yet there’s no sign there’s no sign of when The Last Photograph might start filming.
