While Dreamworks has been promoting the latest Shrek film as the final one, that doesn’t mean they’re completely giving up on the franchise, as next year we’ll be getting the spin-off, Puss In Boots, in which Antonio Banderas’ footwear loving feline will take centre stage.
For quite a while we’ve known that Salma Hayek will be voicing his love interest, Kitty, but we haven’t had any imagery of the character. However now Dreamworks Animation has launched the film’s official website, giving us our first look at the black and white Kitty, which you can see above.
A prequel to Puss’ Shrek adventures, the film will see him team up with Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the street-savvy Kitty to steal the famed goose that lays the Golden Eggs. It’s reach cinemas November 2011. (Thanks to Movieweb for the tip)
