It seems that Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage are planning to work together, with Variety reporting that the duo have signed on to the movie Trespass, which will be directed by Joel Schumacher.
As Kidman and Cage seem incapable of choosing quality scripts from crap and Schumacher is one of the most variable directors on the planet, it’s safe to say expectation are unlikely to be too high for this one. Who knows though, perhaps such a collision of inconsistent stars and director will result in an unexpected triumph. The script, written by Karl Gajdusek and Eli Richbourg, follows a husband and wife who are taken “hostage by four brutal perpetrators seeking easy cash. Complications ensue amid the unexpected discovery of betrayal and deception.”
The movie is due to start shooting in August, once Cage has wrapped up publcity on The Sorceror’s Apprentice.
