It may not have started shooting yet, but Will Smith is so excited about Men In Black III that’s he’s recorded a brief announcement trailer for it. The clip first showed up on a site called Sony Insider, and apparently debuted at a Sony 3D TV launch event (the clip below isn’t just a bit blurry because it’s a bootleg, but also because it was shot in 3D). It doesn’t tell us much, but it’s kind of fun, and it’s certainly good to see Smith back in the suit and sunglasses. Sony Insider also suggests David Koepp has now been brought it to rewrite Etan Cohen’s screenplay, and that the film will largely be set in 1969 – which may explain the rumours that Josh Brolin will play a young Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones), and also gives a hint that the plot might involve the moon landings. Men In Black III, which will indeed be shot in 3D, is due for release May 25th, 2012.
