Britain’s first digital 3D movie, Streedance 3D, hits cinemas on May 21st, and to celebrate Vertigo Films and Vue Cinemas have teamed up to offer a great competition for any aspiring dancers out there. All you need to do is upload a video of yourself dancing to Youtube (as a response to George Sampson’s video, which you can see here) and the winner will get their dance filmed in 3D to be shown on Vue screens nationwide for two weeks straight.
If you cant dance, dont worry as Vue are giving out prizes, like a Vue VIP card (free cinema for you an a friend for a year), for having the best dance movie, the best outfit or the most original location.
Streetdance 3D follows an urban dance crew determined to win the UK Streetdance Championships, who are forced to work with Royal Ballet dancers in return for rehearsal space. The film features top ballet dancer Richard Winsor, as well as actress Nichola Burley, along with Britain’s Got Talent dance sensations George Sampson, Flawless and Diversity. You can see the Streetdance trailer here.
For more info on this chance to for you to appear in 3D on big screens across the country, showing off your dance moves, head over to the Vue website, or to Youtube. It’s a bit like Britain’s Got Talent, but more three-dimensional.
