With Paramount still desperate to get Transformers 3 in cinemas for summer 2011, pre-production is moving at a fast place, with shooting due to begin in the next few months. However, so far we’ve heard very little what the movie will be about (other than having giant transforming robots in it), so even the smallest nugget is quite intriguing.
It seems that having blown up much of America and Egypt in the first two movies, this time around Michael Bay wants to see if he can destroy Russia and Chicago. His official website has been updated with the news that, “got some little info on TF3: there will be big action sequences shot in Chicago and Moscow this time around.”
Although that doesn’t tell us much (and the fact they’re filming in Chicago doesn’t mean they’ll call it Chicago in the movie, as it could just be a location), there’d be little point going all the way to Russia unless they want to put robots in Red Square and other famed locations – and of course, this being Bay, explode as many of them as possible.
