Ever since Confessions Of A Shopaholic, Isla Fisher has lined up a whole series of movies to star in, ranging from Burke & Hare (which she’s currently shooting), to Life Coach, Desperados and The Cookie Queen. Now it appears she’s got another one to add to the list, with Production Weekly tweeting that, “Isla Fischer [sic] is attached to star in Universal’s high concept romantic comedy Kiss & Tell written by Dax Shelby & Robert Stevens.”
However just to make writing about the film that little bit more difficult, Variety also covers the movie, but mentions nothing about Fisher, while saying that Up In The Air co-writer, Sheldon Turner, will produce the movie, which is about a woman who discovers she has the ability to see exactly how a long-term relationship will unfold just by kissing somebody.
It’s certainly been a good year for Turner, as his work on Up In The Air has increased his status massively, and he’s now got a whole slew of projects he’s attached to either produce or write. However it might not have happened, as Jason Reitman apparently lobbied to get sole writing credit on Up In The Air, but the WGA disagreed and said Turner had to get his dues as co-writer. This has led to some awkward moments at awards ceremonies, with Reitman seemingly not wanting Turner to get too much of the credit, although the director seems to have come to terms with things a bit more in recent weeks.
