Ethan Hawke and Kristin Scott Thomas are lining up to work together as they’ve both signed on to star in the indie movie, The Woman In The Fifth. Variety reports that the movie will be directed by Poland’s Pawel Pawlikowski, who built up quite a reputation for himself on the arthouse circuit with the likes of Last Resort and My Summer Of Love, but hasn’t made a movie since 2004.
The Woman In The Fifth, based on Douglas Kennedy’s book, is a thriller about an American who flees to Paris due to a scandal ang gets a job as a film lecuturer at a university. However the widow he begins dating might be involved in a series of murder.
Shooting is due to begin in Paris in March, with French company Haut et Court co-financing with Britain’s Film4.
