For a while it looked like Amanda Bynes was going to hit the comedy big time at a very young age, but following the failure of her starring roles in the likes of What A Girl Wants, She’s The Man and Sydney White, she hasn’t been seen on the big screen since her supporting role in 2007’s Hairspray (although she is in the upcoming Easy A).
However she’s now got a new movie in the works, with Variety reporting that she’s signed up to co-star in the Farrelly Brother’s comedy, Hall Pass. The movie, which also features Owen WIlson, Jenna Fischer and Jason Sudeikis, is about two married couple who get bored and so the wives decide to give the husbands a ‘hall pass’, allowing them a free weekend of debaucherous activity. While the men head off to find illicit affairs, things get complicated when they realise their spouses are also free to do whatever they want.
Filming on the movie begins next week in Atlanta.
