Although the movie went into production without a huge amount of fanfare, today is the final day of filming onThe Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, the third movie in the Narnia series, which has been shooting in Australia under the direction of Michael Apted for the last few months. Now the first official images from the movie have been released through the Narnia Movies Facebook page, showing Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, Skandar Keynes as Edmund and Georgie Hensley as Lucy (Peter and Susan Pevensie don’t return for this tale, while stubborn cousin Eustace ends up in Narnia instead).
Although the Narnia films have moved from being co-produced by Disney to coming out through Fox, it looks like business as usual, although this time more seabound, with Lucy and Edmund joining Caspian on a dangerous journey aboard the ship the Dawn Treader to Aslan’s Country, in order to save Narnia. Take a look above and below to see the first images, all of which were taken on board the Dawn Treader itself. The film will be in cinemas on December 10th, 2010.
