Ever since French President Nicolas Satkozy married Carla Bruni, people haven’t been able to get over the fact she’s a former model and singer. Now she’ll be able to add movie star to her resume, as she’s confirmed reports that she’s set to appear in an upcoming Woody Allen movie.
Variety reports that Bruni told Canal Plus television the news, and that the film’s producer, Javier Mendez, has now confirmed it. She’ll play a secondary role in Allen’s Paris-set movie, which as yet doesn’t have a title and is due to shoot next year.
At the moment Woody is busy in post-production on his film, You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, which stars Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas.
So does this mean Bruni will become Woody’s new muse? He does have a bit of thing about beautiful women, and seems to fixate on certain actresses for short periods before moving onto someone new, so we’ll just have to wait and see what role Carla will play in the upcoming movie.
