Brit actor Matthew Goode’s star has certainly risen following the likes of Watchmen and Brideshead Revisited, and now he’s going Irish opposite Amy Adams in Leap Year. The Enchanted actress plays a young woman who’s fed up with the fact her boyfriend won’t propose, and heads off to Dublin with the idea that she’ll pop the question to her boyfriend on Leap Day – February 29th – because it’s a tradition in Ireland that women can ask men to marry them on that once-every-four-years day. However when weather causes travel problems, she enlists the help of an Irishman (Goode) to help get to her destination on time, but wouldn’t you know it, sparks begin to fly between the pair. It all looks like generic rom-com fun, so click below to take a look at the trailer. Leap Year will be in cinemas early next year.
