There comes a time in every comedian’s life when he decides the best thing to do is to play a woman in a movie. It seems Adam Sandler has now got to this juncture in his existence, as he’s just signed on to star in Jack and Jill, in which he will play both the male and female halves of a set of twins.
Other than that Sandler will be both brother and sister, little more has been revealed about the romantic comedy, although we do know that it will written by Steve Koren (Evan Almighty, Click), whose relationship with Sandler goes back to his Saturday Night Live days.
Although it could be fun to see Adam Sandler in a dress, it’s difficult not to feel that Jack and Jill would have sat nicely as one of the parody comedies in Funny People, but then so do a lot of the movies Sandler has starred in in the past. (Source: Variety)
